The role

System One is looking for an Environmental and Emergency Response Branch Manager to join our dynamic team at out Cincinnati, OH. The Environmental and Emergency Response Branch Manager is responsible for marketing the business line, establishing customers, and delivering profitable, incremental revenue for the Environmental and Emergency Response Services business unit.

The Director of Environmental and Emergency Response Services acts as a liaison between customers, target accounts, and Sales and Operations to drive agenda at the highest possible levels within the customer's organization to facilitate the delivery of all service offerings. Responsibilities include developing market pricing, proposals, and strategies for obtaining new business, determining and leading the development of policies, standardized operational procedures, and best practices to support the successful execution of the business unit.

What you will be doing

Key responsibilities and functions may include, but are not limited to:

+ Drives change with a focus on safety (goal of zero accidents) and continual improvement.

+ Aggressively seeks opportunities and develops new relationships to create and expand opportunities related to hazardous waste transportation and disposal, and industrial & environmental services.

+ Builds and maintains an active list of companies and strategic prospects to generate continuous growth and continually expand the company's client base.

+ Meet all Revenue Targets and Business Development Metrics

+ Schedules development calls and appointments

+ Prospects and networks regularly

+ Maintain company's CRM database with accurate, up-to-date contact and activity details.

+ Participates in Proposal development process.

+ Works on-site at customer locations with Operations Team, as needed.

+ Develops and maintains an advanced understanding of the EMS industry including the unique needs and business challenges of our prospective clients

+ Gains an in-depth awareness of EMS SES competitors and the strengths and weaknesses of their product offerings.

+ Attends trade shows and other marketing and networking events to generate leads.

+ Actively network wherever and whenever possible with various trade organizations to promote SES services and capabilities.

+ Expands market penetration in various market sectors by attracting new clients, maintaining strong business relationships with current clients, and consistently capitalizing on opportunities for repeat business while fostering customer loyalty.

+ Works in tandem with operations and sales management to develop and present business solutions that consistently align with the strategic goals of the organization.

+ Resolves customer complaints, service problems, and receivable collections in a timely manner, while maintaining/improving customer satisfaction.

+ Manages the financial Branch activities.

+ Ensures communications within the Branch and between the Branch and Headquarters is fluid, transparent, and frequent.

+ Develops and implements operational procedures for safe and efficient execution of all service in compliance with SES and regulatory safety and environmental guidelines.

+ Assures company image is developed and maintained favorably with customers and suppliers.

+ Weekly travel to customer and prospect sites is required. Overnight travel is required as necessary.

+ May assist in the recruitment and management of qualified employees to support the service line, as well as manage and maintain all dedicated resources including equipment, materials and supplies.

+ Supports Operations to ensure employees are working in the most cost-effective manner to complete the job/task in the best interest of SEL/SES profitability.

+ Ensures employees are fully aware of customer's on-site rules and regulations, that at all times they are an immediate reflection of their expertise and professionalism as well as that of System One

+ Develops up to date accurate documentation, statistics, and reports to reflect activities.

+ Develops, modifies, and implements operational policies and procedures and ensures procedures and practices are current.

+ Conducts all job tasks, duties, and interactions with professionalism, respect, a positive attitude, and in accordance with company compliance policies and applicable government regulations.

+ Supports and assists management in any other function as may be deemed important and necessary for location or division operation.

What we are looking for

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

+ Minimum of 5 years sales experience in the Environmental and/or Industrial Services industry, preferably in Emergency Response: Waste Management, Transportation Services, Industrial Cleaning, & In-Plant Services

+ A minimum of 3 years of managerial experience.

+ A Bachelor's Degree

+ High ethics and values

+ Outstanding Customer Care Skillset; Advocates for Customer

+ Track record of delivering strong sales results

+ Existing, long-term industry account base/contacts a plus

+ Excellent written and oral communication skills

+ Strong organization and time management skills
